Prime Time

  Primers are a great way to ensure that you achieve a flawless complexion - each and every day!  My favourite is the original Smashbox Photo Finish, it's oil-free so won't cause breakouts, it lasts forever, and can even be worn without foundation for a matte, silky, sans-makeup look.
  Why is it so fantastic?  It's got a plethora of silicones in it - the primary ingredient being cyclomethicone.  Silicones are too big of molecules to penetrate our skin cells, so therefore they form a uniform layer on top - explaining the longevity and lack of pore-clogging. Moreover, cyclomethicone formulations stay blended, accounting for the uniformity of the mixture!
